The Power of “NO”

Today’s message is about the force that people (especially young people) have allowed to control their lives negatively just because they can not resist it; because they lack the power to say; “NO”

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."{James 4:7}

v Many men are controlled by their penis.

If what you've said that you could control is now controlling your life now, you need to repent today

Hard Facts

Ø It is possible that A man or woman can heads to the Word of God BUT too late.

Ø A wrong choice made early in life may be uncorrectable again till you die.

Ø Living long is a very great privilege that not every can have.

Ø There are things that must happen to you as a youth, if they do not happen to you, your adulthood is not certain.

Ø No one can be young more than once.

I decree in to your life; It will not be too late for you in Jesus' name.

It is this time that you have to make choices.

It is this time that you have to work hard

There is a serious battle going on now in the world against the youth; the battle is to influence their choices

As a young person, this is the time to lay a good foundation for the future.

As a young person, this is time to pitch your tent in the camp of God

A time will come when it will be too late

I pray for you; May you possess the power to shout anointed NOwhen it is time to say NOin the name of Jesus.

Facts about the Power of “NO”

1.   Resist the devil and he will flee from you.{James 4:7}.

2.   It is not hard to pronounce, but it is often very difficult to say NO.

3.   One of the hardest response is to say NO to resist the devil.

4.   In order to say YES to the right things, you must say NO to the devil.

5.   Moses said NO to Pharaoh.

6.   Jesus said NO to the devil.

7.   Jesus said NO to being made an earthly king.

8.   NO is a short word with a lasting power.

9.   You must avoid one disease to 'Please' people.

10.                   When you should not do something, you simply say NO.

11.                   You do not have to explain yourself than to just say NO.

12.                   How can someone who is in darkness be advising one who is in light.

13.                   All destiny people have 'ignore-list'.

14.                   NO is a concentrated declaration of independence of human soul.

15.                   NO is the depth of the path of reformation.

16.                   NO is the gate of strength.

17.                   NO is the barometer of temperament.

18.                   NO is the true indicator of moral force.

19.                   NO is the most effective automatic safety force device.

20.                   NO has saved the destiny of many.

21.                   NO has kept many young men from drunkenness.

22.                   NO is a thick wall that keeps men from falling

23.                   NO is a thick wall that keeps women from discretion.

24.                   NO is a thick wall that keeps the boys from ruining.

25.                   NO is a thick wall that keeps the girls from shame.

Know this:

ü When the Lord wants you for a purpose, the devil will bring various temptation your way.

ü Inability to say NO when it is necessary has caused tragedy for many.

ü Inability to say NO when it is necessary has caused trouble for many

How Do I Keep myself from falling?

1.   Your must allow your flesh to die.

2.   Avoid all evil influences.

3.   Build your life on the Word of God.

4.   Make daily reading of the Bible your daily meal.

5.   Flee all appearances of evil.

6.   Resist the devil.

7.   Be addicted to prayers; Prayer is the most powerful force that God has deposited on the earth

8.   Be a broken Christian;Brokenness is when God says:

- sit down and you sit down - stand up and you stand up ;

- get up and you get up - speak and you speak ;

- don't eat and you don't eat - fast and you fast.

Power of Spiritual Geography

The message for today exposes the mysterious power of geographical location in the spirit realm. We are able to declare how people’s life and destiny have been controlled by the power of their geographical location. The negative influence of this can only be dealt with by the power of the holy ghost.

Power of spiritual geography

{Dan 10:1} "In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision."

"And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days."{Dan 10:10-14}

Daniel actually prayed and his answered was given ; but the prince of Persia withstood him.

Ø Every Country has a ruling and controlling power over it.

Ø Every City has a ruling and controlling power over it.

Ø It does not matter how advancethey are; It does not matter how civilizedthey are.

Ø Every throne that exist has a spiritual throne over it.

Ø Every governmentin the world have their own spiritual cabinet that controls it.

Ø Every territory have a strongman in charge; that controls what happens.

Ø Every location have a strongman in charge; that controls what happens.

This have cause a lot of negative effects on many people.

Naturally

Every human being is a symbol of his/location. You are a walking symbol of where your are born or live in.

Your face, speech, food, style of cloth, skin colour, hair texture, way of doing things ; these are all pointers of where you come from.

These distinguishing characteristics has the capability of controlling the lives of people.

There is what is called Environmental  Powers; Tribal Powers; Ethic Powers; Territorial Powers. These are the element of spiritual geography.

For Example

The Arab world have become ethnically unchanged from the time of Ishmael. {Gen 16:11-12} "And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the Lord hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren."

The prophecy for Ishmael was for him and his people.

·      Rejection by others; reject of others; been  aggressive, spirit withdrawal, isolation, ,polygamy, Pride & Arrogance etc. This are negative prophesies still avail for these people till this day.

These geographical powers have the power to affect people’s life; No one is left out, as long as you belong to one part of the geography.

ü Ethnic and culture has power to dominate a person unless by the power of the intervention of Jesus.

ü No one is exempted from this ethnic powers

ü All cultures has controlling problems

The only way to be free from the bondages of this geographical powers is through deliverance

All environment in the whole one is involved one way or the other. Look at the origin of each locations you will find out  a binding force to this power of geographical location.

Geographical Contributing Factors

ü Strong family tradition

ü Class structure

ü Land developers

ü Were the ancestors  migrants?

ü What primitive religion is that place ?

ü How did the place start?

ü If they were colonized, what is the behavior of those who colonized them?

ü Are they Superstition  people?

All countries and localities are subjected to the influences of demonic strongmen

In Mark 5 , the demon says, let us stay here; let us make this place our habitation; let us destroy this life.

Many of the culture we practice are tainted with demonic attachments.

There is need to be carefully; as we move around; from state to state; city to city; location to location.

I Pray for you: The wicked power from your place of birth that is working contrary to your destiny shall release you in the name of Jesus

Idol worship, slave trade, Festivals such as new yam festival, chronic charms.

Worship Animal, snake, dog sacrifice.

Marine power, isolation.

Even if anyone in this area travels abroad, this powers will catchup with the; unless they address it with prayers.

Spirit of the Bond woman, heated, hostility, polygamy, vagabond spirit.

Water spirit, way different, strong spirit of lust

The Jihad spirit, Bond woman,

Water spirit, Marine spirit, slavery, spirit of Olumba Olumba.

There is hardly any area there that don’t have a shrine

Worldliness, Marine spirit, laziness, rebellion, sexual perversion, alcohol, masquerade.

Characteristics of a Virtuous Wife

When God made Eve, it was in order that she might be a helper suitable for man. “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him”{Gen 2:18}The glory of this ministry is seen, when we notice that the title of 'Helper' is what Jesus used to refer to the Holy Spirit as well (Jn. 14:16)!

As the Holy Spirit invisibly and silently, yet powerfully helps the believer, even so the woman was created to help the man. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is 'behind the scenes'. So is the woman's to be.

The life of Jesus also is an example to woman; for God's Word states that man is the woman's head in exactly the same way as God (the Father) is the head of Christ (1 Cor. 11:3). Jesus always acted in submission to His Father.

A God-fearing sister will act likewise in relation to her husband. Eve's mistake in the Garden of Eden was that she failed to consult her husband before she took a decision. Thus Satan deceived her (1 Tim. 2:14). Where Eve failed, God calls Christian wives today to manifest the glory of submission to their husbands, exactly as Jesus was to the Father and as the church is to Christ (Eph. 5:24).

Sin entered the universe through the rebellion of Lucifer. Salvation came through the submission of Christ. The spirit of humble submission to God's authority is the greatest power that there is in the universe - for it is the Spirit of Christ. That Spirit conquered all the spirits of rebellion on the cross.

When a wife submits to her husband, she is actually submitting to the authority of God's Word which commands her to do so; and she is then being influenced by the greatest power in the universe. Even unconverted husbands can be won over by that power (1 Pet. 3:1, 2). If she lives in that submissive spirit during her earthly life, she will be an overcomer, and will qualify to reign with Jesus for eternal ages (Rev. 3:21).

Here is where Satan deceives the woman again. As he led the angels astray, he leads the woman astray - through the spirit of rebellion. A rebellious wife converts her home into a barren wasteland, worse than any desert (that is the implication of Prov. 21:19). On the other hand, a virtuous, submissive wife crowns her husband as a king and thus converts her home into a palace (Prov. 12:4). Your home can either be a palace or a desert, spiritually speaking. It all depends on the type of wife that you are. No wonder that what God values most highly is a meek (gentle) and a quiet spirit (1 Pet. 3:4).

Prov. 31:10-31 describes some of the characteristics of this virtuous wife. Her heart, hands and tongue are described as excellent. Nothing is mentioned about her physical beauty or her feminine charms, for these are declared to be worthless and deceptive (Prov. 31:30). It would be an excellent thing if all women and young girls, and especially young men considering marriage, realized this fact.

The virtuous woman described here, has a heart that fears God (Prov. 31:30). This is the foundation for her whole life. She works with her hands, stitching clothes, cooking meals, planting trees and helping the poor (Prov. 31:13-22). She uses her tongue at all times with kindness and wisdom (Prov. 31:26). She is God-fearing, hard-working and kind - even if she is not beautiful. The glory of God is manifested through her pure heart, rough hands and soft tongue. (Worldly women, in contrast, have an impure heart, soft hands and a rough tongue!). It is in these areas that God looks for women today to manifest His glory.

As a wife, this virtuous woman is a true helper to her husband. She does him good consistently till the end of her life - not in fits and starts (Prov. 31:12). In other words, she never loses her first love for him. She also adjusts herself to his profession and calling in life, supplementing his income with her own quiet labours at home, being thrifty and careful in expenditure, so that no money is wasted. She relieves her husband of home responsibilities, so that he can have a ministry in the land for the Lord (Prov. 31:23-27). No wonder her husband praises her saying that of all the women in the world (including women prime ministers and women preachers), she is the best of the lot (Prov. 31:29).

Such a woman certainly deserves to be praised publicly too (Prov. 31:31), for she has understood the glory of her calling as a woman.
