40 THINGS YOUR SOUL MUST AVOID _{{Part 2}}

Man consist of the body, soul and spirit. The soul inside of man is a living soul. The Bible says: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul” {Genesis 2:7}.

Satan knows full well that he dominates the psychical or the soul of man. Therefore he does not care if a man goes to a church where the Spirit of God is not in evidence. The soul is the seat of the passions, the feelings, and the desires of man; and Satan is satisfied if he can master these.  

It is in the soul where fleshly lusts, desires, and appetites arise:

“Abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul” {Peter 2:11}

The soul of man, that is, his affections and desires, are never directed Godward until after the spirit has become regenerated. Man can never love God nor the things of God until he is born from above.

So many things, I realize are not good. Most of these things are prone to men either through indiscipline, ignorance, carelessness or bad influence. “Also, [that] the soul [be] without knowledge, [it is] not good; and he that hasteth with [his] feet sinneth” { Prov 19:2}

These things are not good for the soul; yet, man must take responsibility of his life. Here is a continuation of the list to consider:

13.          It is not good to follow a majority in wrongdoing.

14.         It is not good to despise another.

15.          It is not good to fail in thinking about or preparing for tomorrow.

16.         It is not good to be fearful.

17.         It is not good to doubt your capabilities as a child of God.

18.         It is not good to take decisions hinged on sight alone.

19.         It is not good to always do as you please always.

20.         It is not good to be ungrateful for little things done for us.

21.         It is not good to be forgetful.

22.         It is not good to be unfaithful in one's duties.

23.         It is not good to corrupt judgment.

24.         It is not good to covet another man's property.

25.         It is not good to neglect spiritual matters.

Pray For The Nation {Day 4}

PRAY FOR THE NATION _{{Day 4}}

Do you believe that the spiritual realm controls the physical realm which we live in?

Do you know that, there is a great power that can deliver anyone, anything, any situation anywhere to the uttermost?

Do you agree with me that we have been quiet for so long as a nation and thus the enemy is cheating us?

We need to pray because God is desperately looking for people to intercede for this nation; but He found none. “And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.” { Isa 59:16}

Prayer is the most potent force known to humanity. Because we have been made partakers in Jesus’ victory over sin and death (1 John 4:4), we have the authority as sons and daughters of God to pray for others, pushing back the darkness of sin and oppression. In prayer, we have a weapon that has “divine power to destroy strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).

“The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects” {James 5:16},

Why don’t you let Heaven record your name with the intercessors; there is a great reward.

What Do We Do?

v Consistently pray for this Nation every dayin your Prayer time.

Day 4. Prayer Points

There are 14 days of prayer; each day consists of 14 prayer points and should be prayed for 14 days and night.

The prayers to be done between 12 and 12:30am for the night. The Bible confessions should be made every night before going into praises and then the prayers.

1.   Holy Ghost, take over this election period and frustrate the devices of the enemy, in the name of Jesus.

2.   Every selfish ambition for this election period, die suddenly, in the name of Jesus.

3.   Powers from the heavenlies, powers from the waters, militating against peaceful elections in Nigeria, lose you hold and die, in the name of Jesus.

4.   Expectations of darkness, expectations of wickedness, for this election period, be disappointed by the power of God, in the name of Jesus.

5.   Peace of God, take over this election period, in the name of Jesus.

6.   O God of Elijah, enforce your fear in the hearts of politicians in this country, in the name of Jesus.

7.   By the power of the Holy Ghost, we declare this election period peaceful and blissful, in the name of Jesus.

8.   We declare Nigeria a riot-free, violence-free and war-free country, in the name of Jesus.

9.   Our Heavenly Father, in every election for this period, let Your own divine candidates become the leaders of this country in the name of Jesus.

10.                   Holy Ghost fire, chase out agents of darkness from the leadership positions in Nigeria, in the name of Jesus.

11.                   We come against election malpractices by the power in the blood of Jesus.

12.                   Let the satanic representatives of key posts in this country be dismantled, in the name of Jesus.

13.                   Let every evil spiritual throne behind all physical thrones in Nigeria be dismantled, in the name of Jesus.

14.                   Let every satanic covenant made on behalf of this country be anyone be nullified, in the name of Jesus.

40 THINGS YOUR SOUL MUST AVOID _{{Part 1}}

Man consist of the body, soul and spirit. The soul inside of man is a living soul. The Bible says: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul” {Genesis 2:7}.

Satan knows full well that he dominates the psychical or the soul of man. Therefore he does not care if a man goes to a church where the Spirit of God is not in evidence. The soul is the seat of the passions, the feelings, and the desires of man; and Satan is satisfied if he can master these.  

It is in the soul where fleshly lusts, desires, and appetites arise:

The soul of man, that is, his affections and desires, are never directed Godward until after the spirit has become regenerated. Man can never love God nor the things of God until he is born from above.

He may have a troubled conscience or be so stirred emotionally that he may weep bitterly, and still remain dead in trespasses and in sins. We do not feel that we are guilty of judging men when we state that some who have answered an altar call and shed tears never were born again. Man’s desires and affections are turned toward God when he realizes his sinful condition and God’s grace in salvation. When the Spirit of God illuminates the spirit of a man with divine light and life, that man begins to yield his affections and faculties to God.

As we can see that the soul is very important, but unfortunately the enemy attacks the soul of man; by infiltrating the soul with things that are not good.

So many things, I realize are not good. Most of these things are prone to men either through indiscipline, ignorance, carelessness or bad influence. “Also, [that] the soul [be] without knowledge, [it is] not good; and he that hasteth with [his] feet sinneth” { Prov 19:2}

This things are not good for the soul; yet, man must take responsibility of his life. Here is a list to consider:

1.   It is not good to be ignorant of who you are.

2.   It is not good to live each day without a purpose.

3.   It is not good to be hasty.

4.   It is not good to neglect attendance to your soul.

5.   It is not good to start a work and not finish it.

6.   It is not good to live below your best.

7.   It is not good to hoard substance that is profitable to others.

8.   It is not good to be slothful.

9.   It is not good to work with expectations that exceed your preparation.

10.                   It is not good to be idle.

11.                   It is not good to be hasty in speech.

12.                   It is not good to judge another and acquit yourself
