Word: :LEARNING FROM THE ANT

LEARNING FROM THE ANT

Biblical Lessons from the Ant

Proverbs 6:6  King James Version (KJV)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,provideth her meat in the summer,and gathereth her food in the harvest”

There are basic lesson we God wants us to learning from the ants; some of them are as follows:

  HARDWORK =>
Ants are hard workers.
·        Some workers gather food for the colony. When an ant finds food, it lays down a scent trail for others to follow to the food.
·        Some ants store the food they harvest in special chambers in the nest.
·        Other workers feed and care for the queen and her developing young.
·        Still others build the chambers and tunnels. They use their saliva to make the dirt walls hard.
·        Some worker ants are soldiers. They defend the colony and fight off their enemies (other ants or other kinds of insects).
LIKEWISE =>
-        In our endeavors, let us put in all we can, you will never know when     and which one of your effort will announce you and position you in the palace.
{Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men (Colossians 3:23)}

  WISDOM =>
Ants as small in size as they are,  they apply wisdom in their dealings.
·        Ants also work in anticipation of future needs, gathering and storing food in warm weather, before winter comes.
·        Ants, known for being industrious, are commended by God for their initiative. Ants have no leader—no commander to direct them, no overseer to inspect their work, no ruler to prod them on. People who act only when commanded to do not possess wisdom.
LIKEWISE =>
-        We should have a foresight and plan for the future. People who act only when commanded to do not possess wisdom.

{Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding (Proverbs 3:13)}

 COOPERATION =>

·       Ants are team workers and work together in order to achieve something great. Likewise,
LIKEWISE => For us to accomplish something significant in life, we must align ourselves with others who can help propel you to another level

{Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly Do not be wise in your own estimation (Proverbs 12:16)}

SERVICE =>
·       Ants understand how to serve its neighbor to achieve a common goal.
·        Living just for your own self is a lonely existence. Serving people goes that one step further and asks ‘what can I do for you?’ You start to live beyond yourself and purposefully contribute positively to others.

·       Ants strives to achieve its purpose regardless of the limitations..
LIKEWISE =>
·        By purpose I mean having a clear long term objective or goal which shapes everything you do. For example, one ant’s sole job description is to find food for the colony. This is his purpose, and all that he inputs this time and energy into, and so it compounds his chances of success

{Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:10)}

WELL ORGANIZED =>
·       Ants leverage the power of their population structure a perfect structure of organization.

LIKEWISE =>
We a should learn to organize our lives, family, business and prevent confusion and conflicts.

{Let all things be done decently and in order. (1 Cor 14:40)}

SHARING =>
·       Ants can afford to share the last portion of their meal with another.
LIKEWISE =>
 We should learn to share what we have with others.

{And don't forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. (Heb 13:16)}
